For years , Cory has spoken out against Trump-appointed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy and his efforts to dismantle the United States Postal Service from within.

Already, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s negligent management of the United States Postal Service is the perfect example of how one of our oldest, most reliable, most beloved institutions has been let down by Trump’s cronyism and failed leadership.

Privatizing the USPS would make things way worse. Imagine higher costs, less accessible delivery services, rural communities cut off from postal routes, and thousands of workers losing their jobs.

The USPS is a crucial part of our national infrastructure. This agency delivers millions of ballots so voters can participate in our elections. They mail prescriptions people depend on to keep them alive. They mail Social Security checks to seniors who worked hard for their benefits. Trump already tarnished the USPS when he appointed former RNC Finance Chair Louis DeJoy as Postmaster General. Service slowed down and got more expensive under his tenure.
