Late last week, my colleagues in the House and I worked across party lines to advance the next critical piece of coronavirus relief legislation.

TELL MCCONNELL TO BRING COVID-19 RELIEF TO A VOTE IN THE SENATE >>

It's an aggressive and necessary response to this unprecedented health crisis that would:

Provide $3 trillion in emergency aid, including more than $9.5 billion for Maryland
Allocate $75 billion to strengthen COVID-19 testing capacity, contact tracing, and treatment so we can safely get back to work
Provide another round of direct paychecks of up to $6,000 to hardworking families
Create a special Obamacare enrollment period to ensure uninsured Americans can get coverage during a pandemic
Provide funding to increase food assistance benefits, ensure safe elections, and protect the Postal Service

As a former Baltimore County Executive, I know that if Congress doesn't take action on this critical relief package, our state and local governments -- which include health departments that are responding to this crisis and employees who are processing historic numbers of unemployment claims -- will suffer, and consequently, so will hardworking Americans.

Now, we need Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to bring this critical coronavirus relief package to a vote in the Senate. Will you sign our emergency petition and tell McConnell to act now?
