❌ Congress passed Senate Bill S.5, a harmful bill that will put our neighbors, co-workers, and loved ones in danger of racial profiling and inhumane and indefinite detention.

✍️ On Monday, Trump was officially inaugurated into office, kicking off his administration by announcing a slate of harmful anti-immigrant Executive Orders. He pledged to unleash the military against families seeking safety at the border, attacked birthright citizenship for children of immigrants, and promised to ramp up mass deportations in dozens of cities across the country, like Chicago, LA, and Austin.

🤝 Yesterday, we did what our community does best: We came together at our national community call to protect one another, organize, and strategize key ways to have each other’s backs. Trump’s attacks don’t scare us — our communities are stronger than his fear tactics, and we’re ready to defend each other no matter what.
With the future of DACA in danger and millions of immigrant families at risk of being separated by Trump’s crusade against our communities, we must pressure Congress to deliver permanent protections for all.
Congress must take action NOW to deliver a pathway to citizenship for millions of individuals, including DACA recipients, who risk being torn from their families and communities.
