President Trump Off and Running
We are thrilled to announce a monumental victory in the fight for free speech and the unborn. We would like to formally thank President Trump for signing a pardon for 23 pro-life advocates - one of which is a PJI client.
In 2020, these Christian activists peacefully protested abortion through a "sit-in" demonstration. They were convicted and were awaiting sentencing, which could include an 11 year prison sentence. Among the protestors was a pastor who PJI attorney David Peterson represented in a 28-day federal trial. The pardons will be in effect immediately.
This unjust prosecution underscores the growing hostility toward those standing for life. But today, we celebrate the courage of these advocates and the leadership of a President committed to fighting for the sanctity of life and the unborn.
