During session, my office will be providing full updates bi-weekly, but I wanted to share a few quick things with you before we leave for the week.
Constitutional Amendments
This week, the Senate followed the House in passing the three key constitutional amendments this year on reproductive freedom, voting rights, and marriage equality. Unlike normal bills, the Governor does not get to sign or veto these amendments. Instead, they will be reconsidered next year and then go to the voters.
