What a difference!

On Monday, I stood in the Capitol Rotunda to watch President Trump take the Oath of Office and announce an America First agenda that will get America moving forward again.

And President Trump wasted no time turning back the failed policies of the Biden Administration - issuing more than 200 Executive Orders designed to get our economy moving again, developing domestic energy sources, and securing our borders!

The Trump Administration immediately declared the Southern Border a “National Emergency,” terminated the Biden “CPB One” asylum app, authorized the continued construction of the US-Mexico border wall, and declared the cartels “Foreign Terrorist Organizations.”

Not only that, President Trump has sent thousands of American troops to the border to help state and federal officials protect our sovereignty.

This week, I was proud to vote for the Laken Riley Act, the first bill President Trump will sign in the Oval Office.

The Laken Riley Act will make it easier for immigration officials to detain and deport illegal immigrants who are charged with a crime. When a person who comes here illegally breaks additional laws, there is no reason they should be allowed to walk our streets and put Americans at risk.

The Revolution of Common Sense that President Trump promised in his inaugural speech has begun!

We have a tough fight ahead of us. President Trump has nominated a historic group to his cabinet - outsiders who are committed to an America First agenda - to root out the waste, fraud, and abuse within our government and get back to serving the American people.

It is why I ran for Congress and what I am committed to doing. And we’ve only just begun.
