Over the holidays, here at Northern Virginia Bird Alliance, we were thrilled to welcome two new staff members. We are so excited to have them!
Amanda Robinson, Executive Director
Amanda Robinson, our new Executive Director, spent her career working with nonprofits focused on climate action and education, serving most recently as the Director of Development for The Climate Initiative. Growing up in Maine, Amanda's earliest memories of birds and conservation revolve around the annual efforts to protect Piping Plover nests along her hometown's beaches. These experiences sparked a lifelong love of wildlife and a particular interest in protecting endangered species.
McKenzie Ingram, Volunteer Coordinator
McKenzie Ingram, our new Volunteer Coordinator, manages various volunteer opportunities and is the main point of contact for any questions or concerns volunteers may have. Prior to NVBA, she worked for Anacostia Riverkeeper as the Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator.
