Hello this is Raya from Shahid Buttar’s campaign. We hope you are safe and doing well. Thanks to you and everyone else who’s been a part of our online volunteering, we’ve been getting more voters and endorsements than ever before! Because of the strength of our movement; the strength of your donations, volunteering, social media support and everything else you’ve done to support our struggle for a humane and decent future, we’re proud to announce the endorsement of presidential candidate Marianne Williamson!

But we’re still short of reaching the voters we need this month to have a path to victory, and this is our last week to get there if we want to have the path to WIN in November- there’s no room for error when you’re taking on the establishment, and we wouldn’t ask if the fate of our movement didn’t rest on you joining us to talk to the voters about why YOU are supporting Shahid!

The COVID-19 pandemic has put grassroots campaigns like ours in a tough spot as we are unable to reach out to voters at their doors. As our opponent pumps corporate money to boost their campaign during the crisis, we are relying on our community of dedicated activists and supporters to reach voters through the phone. We have set up an impressive digital phone-banking program to spread the word about Shahid. But the only way we can pull this off is to have our supporters around the country join us in reaching out to voters with us by phone!

Can we count on you to get trained to join our calling team? It takes just 20 minutes and any one volunteer could be decisive in these crucial next few weeks!

Write us back with your number if you haven’t already given it to us, and a good time to train you for 20 minutes anytime between 12 and 8pm Pacific, so we can reach out and get you connected to our team!
