Donald Trump called the U.S. Postal Service "a joke" and threatened to block any aid Congress sends its way:

The Washington Post: Trump says he will block coronavirus aid for U.S. Postal Service if it doesn't hike prices immediately

The Postal Service is more vital than ever before -- as many people are stuck in their homes, they rely on the Postal Service not just for correspondence, but for life-saving medication, supplies, and shopping.

The USPS is publicly funded, and its low prices are the only affordable option for so many who are struggling. The Postal Service needs immediate aid if it is going to withstand this pandemic.
