The United States Senate is set to vote on Pete Hegseth’s nomination as Secretary of Defense.

We’ve been doing everything we can to stop this — behind the scenes, through our allies, in the media, and beyond. The unfortunate truth is that it appears that he has enough Republican votes to be confirmed.

But in the next weeks and months — as Hegseth’s historic lack of qualification becomes clear to everyone — we are going to ring this vote around their necks.

Hegseth will make critical errors. Of that we can have no doubt. And when he does, VoteVets will be there.

When Hegseth undermines the authority and respect required by the Secretary of Defense, we will be there.

When Hegseth puts American Troops in harm’s way needlessly, we will be there.
