Senate Democrats Fight for YOU, While Republicans Fight Bears❓ 🐻❓

We heard a lot about the challenges facing Oklahoma this past election cycle. As we knocked on doors around the state, our neighbors said they were fed up with our education system being hijacked by an extremist loud mouth. Oklahomans wanted to know how we would keep the state affordable and make it a better place to raise a family. People asked us why it feels like the State Government doesn’t actually work for them. 

Well, Democratic Senators showed up to the Capitol this session to fight for you. The Senate Democratic caucus has unveiled an aggressive series of bills to fight for all of us.

Meanwhile, Republicans continue to fail to meet the needs of our state. State Representative J.J. Humphrey (R-Lane) has filed HB 1269. This proposed law removes penalties for hosting exhibitions in horse tripping and bear fighting.

So, our job as Democrats and engaged citizens is quite clear. We’re readying our Legislative tracking tools so that every Democrat can support this strong agenda for our state. We’ll be keeping you informed this Session not just of the progress being made, but when Bad Bills and dangerous legislation comes forward. Your support makes it possible for us to keep close tabs on the Legislature and quickly mobilize proud Democrats in beating bad bills.

Our promise is that you’ll have the tools needed to get your voice to the people casting the votes that matter this year.
