I’ll be honest — the last few days have been difficult.

Trump has already shown us that he doesn’t actually want to lower costs for working families or make our communities safer. He’s going after the law that’s lowered drug prices for millions of Americans and released hundreds of violent rioters who beat Capitol police.

But here’s the thing: we can’t only love our country when things go our way. Respecting the outcome of free and fair elections — win or lose — is part of what makes our democracy strong. That doesn’t mean we’ll stop fighting for the issues we care about.

We’re committed to protecting Colorado and standing against Trump’s dangerous agenda. From safeguarding abortion rights and protecting our environment to expanding access to affordable healthcare and lowering costs for hardworking families — our work isn’t done.

I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and do whatever it takes to keep delivering for Coloradans. But I can’t do it alone. Can I count on you to stand with me and help power this fight?
