Forward Forward
BRI has planned a busy fall for in-person seminars in multiple regions across the nation. From Albuquerque and Atlanta to Grand Rapids and Hartford to Tulsa and Vancouver, we are hoping to cover more geographic locations in one semester than ever before. As always, all of these professional development workshops are free, scholar-led, and include ready-to-use primary source-based classroom activities.

We are continuing to add locations, so please check the website in the coming weeks to find out if we're coming to your neck of the woods, and to register.

Meet BRI Educators!

This school year, we were proud to profile a handful of BRI educators whose dedication to their profession is representative of all of you who are making a difference in the lives of thousands of young people every day in classrooms across the nation.

As you bring the 2019-2020 school year – the most unusual and challenging in recent memory – to a close, we want to thank you for all you continue to do for your students, colleagues, families, and communities.
BoE: Bottom of Email

Dear John,

As we wrap-up this most un-traditional of ends to a school year, on behalf of all of us at the Bill of Rights Institute, we hope you and yours are healthy and well. We hope you have been able to celebrate a job well done with your students and with your colleagues--or will soon! We hope that you will pat yourself on the back for what you have accomplished over the last few months; it's been truly amazing to watch you pivot with such compassion and care.

As we now turn our gaze to summer, we hope that you will get some much deserved time away from your lesson plans and online classrooms. We hope that you will be able to find time to rest with those who matter most to you. When you do decide that it's time to start thinking about the fall again, we'll be here, but until then, our best to you and yours. Enjoy the break!

Happy Summer – be well, teacher friends!
