We’ve always known that the fight against gerrymandering would be a marathon, not a sprint. When maps are drawn so that politicians pick their voters — rather than the voters picking their politicians — our democracy is not truly representative. Corruption breeds and extremism thrives. Gerrymandering makes it harder for all voices to be heard and for communities to be truly represented.
