It’s Cecilia, the Finance Director here on Team Espy.

First, I want to thank you for all you’ve done so far to help elect Mike Espy to the U.S. Senate, especially during these weird and uncertain times.

We’re continuing to keep Mike engaged with the people of Mississippi through virtual events, and building our campaign to replace hyper-partisan Cindy Hyde-Smith with a tried and true leader who will work on both sides of the aisle for the best interests of Americans.

But I’ve also gotta tell you, I’m a little worried. We’re coming up on our next FEC fundraising deadline this Sunday, May 31st, and we’re a lot farther from our goal than we thought we’d be.

As this campaign’s Finance Director, it’s my job to make sure we have the financial resources to keep Mike talking to voters, get our message out through television spots and online ads, and keep this campaign moving forward despite the odds against us.

When you’re up against an opponent who’s funded by Mitch McConnell’s corporate PACs, even a few bucks here and there makes a BIG difference.

Right now, we only have five days left to hit our May goal , and we’re counting on grassroots donations from folks like you to get us there.
