*You’re Invited: Feedback Sessions on the Transfer of Authority for accreditation of cannabis testing laboratories (implementing 2SHB 2151).*

 

The LCB is holding two online public meetings to get feedback on draft rules [ [link removed] ] to implement 2SHB 2151 (Chapter 69, Laws of 2024) [ [link removed] ] which transfers authority for accreditation of cannabis testing laboratories from LCB to the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA). Session input will help shape proposed rules the LCB Board will be asked to approve for the proposed rules CR-102 filing. Both sessions cover the same topics. For those unable to attend, please provide feedback on the draft rules by Wed., Feb. 12, 2025, 5 p.m. to have it considered for the CR-102 filing. Feedback can be sent to LCB at [email protected].

* Sessions will be recorded and are subject to public disclosure. The purpose of the recordings is to make sure we collect all feedback. The recordings will be posted on the LCB Current Rulemaking [ [link removed] ] webpage.
* The Teams chat feature will be on. Questions submitted in chat will be saved in the rulemaking file and are subject to public disclosure.
* Questions and comments in the session’s Team chat will be addressed at the end of the session.
* To ask questions during the sessions, participants must use the "raise hand” function. Microphones will then be unmuted to allow questions. At other times microphones will be muted until the end of the presentations when questions will be taken.
