![]() Earlier this week, the nation was captivated by the Inauguration festivities taking place in the midst of a winter freeze. President Trump’s remarks were forward-looking and optimistic, and he quickly set out to undo many of the disastrous policies of the Biden regime. In addition to the hope of a new Administration, Americans were treated to a front row seat watching Vice President Vance’s young family. We pray for him, his wife Usha, and their children as they take this incredible leap. ![]() And, of course, we pray for President Trump, Melania, the Trump family, and the entire Administration. Our nation needs a renewed sense of leadership, and we pray the Lord protects the 47th President, gives him wisdom, guides his steps, and draws him to Himself. ![]() While our nation rejoices over a new day in leadership, much is happening in Georgia. The Georgia General Assembly convened for its 2025 session on January 13, marking the beginning of a new legislative term with 180 representatives and 56 senators taking their oaths of office. With Republicans retaining control over both chambers, the session is poised to address a broad spectrum of issues from education to public safety, but here at Frontline we have some key legislative priorities of our own. You can view these priorities in detail at www.FrontlineAgenda.com. Here are some updates from the days of session:
![]() 2. Multiple 'Girls’ Sports' bills have been introduced – It’s clear that our focus is on protecting the integrity of girls’ sports and spaces. Friends and allies such as Senator Greg Dolezal and Representative Brent Cox have introduced legislation with this shared goal, and we continue to dialogue with them, others, and our friend Riley Gaines on the best ways to advance strong protections for our girls. To see our drafted language of an ideal bill, see: https://frontlineagenda.com/priorities/rileygainesact/ Or, to hear from Riley directly at our Conference next week, get your ticket at www.Run2WinConference.com! 3. Governor Kemp gives State of the State – The Governor delivered another stellar set of remarks on the trajectory of Georgia. Watch his remarks HERE. We strongly support the Governor and First Lady's continued leadership in combating human trafficking; as believers, we recognize that every life is precious, and we stand alongside them in this vital fight against the evil of this world. Additionally, we commend the Governor's focus on lowering income taxes yet again, bringing the state income tax to 5.19%. This move is a powerful step in keeping Georgia competitive and allowing hard-working Georgians to keep more of their money to invest in their homes, families, churches, and communities. Further, we support the Governor's initiative on tort reform, which is crucial for fostering economic growth, supporting small businesses, and reducing the burden of excessive litigation on Georgia's economy. We look forward to partnering with the Governor on these critical issues and supporting his commitments to Georgia’s future! 4. This week is 'Budget Week' – a critical time as the Senate and House hold their appropriations meetings. We are hopeful that the right apportionment of funds will be made, ensuring that resources are allocated wisely to the entities and priorities that will best serve our state. We also want to remind you that these hearings are open to the public, providing an opportunity to get involved and engaged in this important process. You can attend in person at the Capitol meeting rooms or watch online at: https://www.legis.ga.gov/schedule/all 5. Session picks back up on Monday, January 27th, and we will be under the Gold Dome continuing the fight for our agenda. Your support and prayers mean so much to us as we fight for what’s right, defend the most vulnerable, and seek to bring glory to God in all that we do. Stay tuned as we provide important updates as the session progresses. If you’re interested in joining us for testimony in support of key legislation, we would love to have you be part of the movement. Please reach out to Chelsea Thompson at [email protected] to connect with our legislative advocacy team and make your voice heard! While all of these happenings are exciting under The Gold Dome, we would love to have you join us for the conversations that matter at our Run2Win Conference.
