A little bit about me:
I'm a fifth-generation Kansan from Independence who previously served 12 years as your attorney general, where I focused on prosecuting crimes against children, protecting senior citizens from scams and rip-offs, recovering record-setting amounts of money for consumers and taxpayers, providing professional legal services for our state, and standing up against illegal overreach by the federal government.
Before serving as attorney general, I served as a state senator representing part of Southeast Kansas, as chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee, and as the Senate Majority Leader.
In Congress, I serve on the House Armed Services, Judiciary, and Small Business Committees, where I work every day to secure our borders, keep our communities safe, strengthen our national defense, fight the inflation that's devastated American families, and dismantle burdensome federal regulations that have stifled small business in Kansas and across the country.
