James, we’ve spent the last few days listening to our supporters and building out our plan to fight back in this unprecedented political moment.
The dangers of Trump’s unholy alliance between government and corporate power are on full display: Big Tech billionaires like Bezos and Musk cheering next to Trump during his inauguration, Trump unleashing “drill baby drill,” and plans to gut Medicare and Social Security to pay for billionaire tax cuts.
It’s downright scary. We know Trump 2.0 feels overwhelming, but we are crystal clear on what needs to happen to take down the rise of Authoritarian Capitalism in America. In 2025, Our Revolution’s Grassroots Army has a plan:
- Fight Trump & the Oligarchs
Trump, Musk, Big Tech, and Big Oil are all coming together to plunder our tax dollars, give themselves tax cuts and subsidies, and outright privatize the government. It’s a corporate takeover. This is what we’re up against and why our Citizen Army is ready to fight tooth and nail against Trump 2.0.
Our Grassroots Army is 30,000 strong and growing — ready to mobilize in the Capitol and in every single congressional district in the country. Over 75% of our supporters said this week in our Trump 2.0 survey that they’re fired up and ready to support efforts to stop Trump’s agenda.
We’re planning nationwide protests, direct citizen lobbying aimed at members of Congress in their home offices and in D.C., drawing media attention to expose the worst of Trump’s agenda, and organizing a mass movement that rejects Trump’s Oligarchy. We need your small dollar donations to help fund our Citizen Action Team and our plans to fight Trump’s Oligarchy.
- Transform the Democratic Party
If the Party prioritized working people over corporate interests and overpaid consultants, Donald Trump wouldn’t have won the presidency AGAIN. There needs to be a change — and thousands of you told us you support this mission in this week’s survey.
Next week, the DNC leadership elections are happening. We’re pressuring DNC voting members to elect leadership who support getting corporate money OUT of the Democratic Party. This is the issue that can stop the Party from knee-capping progressives in primaries, prioritizing the interests of billionaires and elites, and giving right-wing groups like AIPAC, crypto PACs, Big Pharma, and others influence over Democratic Party elections and politics.
We’re organizing ahead of the leadership elections, impacting the vote, and preparing to create big media moments, so we can remake the Democratic Party into a true opposition Party to take on Trump and a real Party for the working class. Can you chip in to support our organizing to truly transform the Democratic Party? We must pressure DNC members to put the grassroots over corporate influence!
- Elect Progressive Champions
There are thousands of elections in 2025, and our movement is ready to go all-in to elect progressives to school boards, city councils, state legislatures, and beyond! Building progressive power at the state and local level is CRUCIAL to making our communities more resilient under Trump 2.0.
We’re getting back to our roots and building out the bench — the pipeline of new progressive leaders who will be the Congress members and presidential contenders of tomorrow. Our endorsement program is recruiting and identifying candidates up and down the ballot, and scheduling trainings to help them grow their grassroots base and develop slates for progressive takeovers city by city.
