I know you've heard a lot from our campaign lately, but I needed to reach out one more time to let you know I'm growing increasingly worried about falling short of our May fundraising goal.
While every deadline is important, this one is especially so; it's the first one since the polls put our campaign in a clear lead and since Mitch McConnell's corporate donor network went on the attack.
We're looking at more than $10 million in negative attack ads from partisan groups in Washington. If we fall short of our goal this month, it will be difficult to fight back and win this election.
