John,
As part of Trump’s Project 2025, they made their intentions to make prescription drugs more expensive for working families clear, and Trump has followed through.
On his first day in office, Trump signed an executive order that reversed many of the efforts Democrats and former President Biden made to address healthcare, including lowering the costs of prescription drugs for people on Medicare and Medicaid.
In comparison, during my time in Congress, I am proud to have delivered on big bills, including capping the prices of insulin at $35 a month for seniors and being able to cap the price of prescription drugs at $2,000 a year for seniors starting in 2025.
It’s clear: While Democrats are fighting for the things that impact Americans' everyday lives, Republicans are committed to wreaking havoc in the name of petty politics. It’s shameful.
Americans deserve to have leaders who will address their concerns and fight FOR them, not against. That is what I am committed to, but I can’t do it alone. Will you join me in the fight by donating $5 today?
