Friend, I just departed Washington Dulles International Airport in DC following the RNC Winter Meeting and the 60th Presidential Inauguration. It has been the honor of my lifetime to serve as a member of the RNC Youth Advisory Council, and I hope to continue to serve in a role that impacts my generation over the next four years. Meeting Report: The 2025 Winter Meeting was largely ceremonial in nature. The only official business conducted at the meeting were the elections for Chairman, Co-Chairman, Treasurer, and Secretary of the RNC. I am pleased to report that Chairman Whatley was unanimously re-elected as Chairman of the Republican National Committee. Under his leadership, we saw tremendous increases in Fundraising, voter turnout, early voting, and Gen Z involvement. As he continues his work as Chairman, I am sure we will continue to see our gains increase over the next two years under his stewardship. Lara Trump has officially left her role as Co-Chair of the RNC as of the general session on 1/17/2025. Her time at the RNC helped lead us to the tremendous victory we saw in November, and she has helped reshape the RNC to be a lean and mean operation whose sole intention is to elect Republicans up and down the ballot. Now that she has departed, the RNC members elected KC Crosbie as Co-Chair. KC has been the RNC's treasurer for the last two years, and I have gotten to know her during my time on the Youth Advisory Council. She will be a fantastic co-chair, and she was President Trump's choice for this role. Following those elections, the 168 elected Joe Gruters as treasurer to replace KC. Our secretary, Vicki Drummond, has also been re-elected to another two-year term. All of the proposed Resolutions at the Winter Meeting were tabled until the upcoming Spring Training Meeting. In other news, following the reorganizational meeting, the RNC promoted Mike Ambrosini, who previously directed State Party Strategies, to Chief of Staff, replacing Trump Co-Campaign Manager Chris LaCavita. Mike has become a dear friend, and I am excited to see him take on this new role with the exceptionalism he has shown over the past two years. The RNC Winter Meeting concluded the official business at around 2:00 PM EST on 1/17/2025. Throughout the meeting, we attended several receptions at the Omni Shoreham in DC with the membership and guests, including a Victory Reception with Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. The Inauguration: Several unforeseen changes were made to the plans for President Trump's Inauguration, mainly the change of venue from the West Steps to the Rotunda of the Capitol. It was bitterly cold in DC this week—ask anyone who attended, and they will tell you! According to President Trump and his team, there were no security threats related to the change of venue, so please rest easy that no significant threat to the Inauguration contributed to the decision to move the ceremony indoors. I had the honor of attending the Swearing-In ceremony inside Emancipation Hall at the Capitol with Governors from across the country, Danica Patrick, Jake & Logan Paul, Conner McGregor, and many other VIP attendees of the inauguration. It was a bittersweet experience to be at the Capitol, knowing that my fellow Coloradans and attendees worldwide were excluded from the festivities, except for the lucky few thousand who were at Capitol One Arena in Chinatown. Following the Inaugural Ceremony, I attended the Liberty Presidential Inaugural Ball at the convention center in DC. With 13,000 of my closest friends, we watched with tearful eyes as President Trump, Vice President Vance, Melania, and Usha Vance danced to the American Trilogy by Elvis Presley to commemorate their return to the White House for the second time. This was my second time attending a Presidential Inauguration, and I cannot say how touching it was to see the end of my 8 years of work and dedication to President Trump and his movement to Make America Great Again come to an end. This event was the culmination of the endless hours of work done by myself, every staffer, volunteer, and activist from across the country, and it was the most beautiful ending to the story we could have had. I had tears in my eyes from the moment I stepped into the Capitol until I left the convention center that night. This movement has meant so much to me, and I genuinely have dedicated almost half of my life to it, and I could not be more grateful for the trust that my supporters have placed in me, and for the opportunity to have been part of this historic movement. In Closing: I hope that the closing of this chapter of my story in this political movement marks the start of a new chapter for not only our country but for the millions of people who, like me, have placed their faith in President Trump and given their all to Making America Great Again. I am looking forward to whatever comes next. Until then, I will continue to advocate for my generation to continue to have a seat at the table in Republican Politics. This is not the end, but just the beginning because, as Frank Sinatra put it, The Best Is Yet To Come! Until I am told otherwise, I will continue to work on behalf of the RNC Youth Advisory Council to engage Gen Z, recruit more Gen Z voters, and train, empower, and energize the Trump base as we ramp up for the 2026 midterms.
