Now is the time to stand up and fight for our values, our democracy, and our rights.
John, it's been three days since Donald Trump took office, and his top donor — and seemingly co-president — is already making gestures behind the presidential seal that can only be described as a Nazi salute:
Will you rush an immediate donation of $3 or more to help Pramila do everything she can to check this administration in Congress and build a movement that can defeat them in the next election?
We know what we saw, and we won’t be gaslit into believing otherwise. But as appalling as this gesture is, it’s not the only thing about the new administration that has us deeply worried:
- Trump just issued a flurry of executive orders with the obvious goal of eventually making every immigrant deportable
- He rescinded longstanding executive orders on equal opportunity employment, including some dating all the way back to LBJ in the 1960s
- And they’re going after LGBTQ+ rights in every way possible
It’s just as bad as Pramila warned, John, and we’re only three days in.
Now is not the time to check out or cower in fear. Now is the time to stand up and fight for our values, our democracy, and our rights. Will you pitch in $3 to Pramila’s people-powered campaign today and help her keep fighting?
