Despite assurances that they would leave the issue to the states, the GOP is now following through on their desire to restrict reproductive rights, and ultimately come after abortion.

It’s not lost on us that this week marks what should be the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. A ruling whose overturning was celebrated by the Republican Party.

This will not be the last time Republicans vote on legislation to restrict women’s access to reproductive health care. We know that they have a long list of targets, from the doctors who provide vital health care to access to medication abortion.
