I’ve always worked to find areas of common ground, places for compromise, and bipartisan paths forward with colleagues across the aisle. (That’s why I have a record of getting things done!)

But, look, there are no compromises when it comes to women’s access to abortion and contraception.

Women should have full autonomy over their own bodies and their ability to make their own healthcare decisions. Full stop.

There’s no doubt that with a Trump-led Republican trifecta in government, abortion rights will be first on the chopping block. It’s going to take a full team effort to push back.
