This week we announced the finalists for the 2025 Georgie Awards! Now in its 33rd year, the 2025 Georgie Awards will feature 53 categories celebrating the best projects in B.C.'s homebuilding industry.

New In-Person Training Session Launching in Kamloops: BCBC 2024 Changes to Part 9 Bracing to Resist Lateral Loads

Adopted in the BC Building Code 2024 are new Part 9 bracing requirements for wood frame construction, coming into effect on March 10, 2025. This session will cover the important upcoming changes that will apply to all Part 9 housing in B.C., including low seismic and wind locations.
