Join me in supporting these vital organizations who are on the front lines of Trump’s dangerous policies

Ayanna Pressley for Congress

This has been an emotionally harrowing time. We are all bracing for impact — and we need only look to the destruction wrought during Trump’s first term to understand the challenges that will surely lie ahead.

The sentiment I’m hearing from my constituents and people around the country right now is a desire for direction. What should we do to help? What can we do to help?

The answer, for now, is simple: community. We can start by standing arm-in-arm with the people who are likely to be most affected by the Trump administration’s disastrous policies.

If you’re looking to do something today to support the communities who could be targeted by this Administration, please consider making a contribution to support the National Network of Abortion Funds, BAGLY, the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, and the ACLU. Your donation will be split between these four organizations.

You’ve heard me talk about how important it is for the people closest to the pain to also be the people closest to the power. That’s what this movement is all about. Watching Trump and the GOP take power, we must stand in solidarity with those who will be feeling the pain most acutely over the next four years. Here’s why I’m supporting these incredibly impactful organizations:

The National Network of Abortion Funds is a network of almost 100 independent abortion funds, which work in tandem to remove financial and logistical barriers to abortion access. NNAF supports member abortion funds by providing grants, leadership development, infrastructure support, and technical assistance.

For nearly 50 years, BAGLY has been a youth-led, adult-supported organization committed to social justice, and creating, sustaining and advocating for programs, policies and services for the LGBTQ+ youth community here in Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition is a coalition of grassroots community organizations, refugee resettlement agencies, providers of social, legal and health services, faith-based organizations, and civil and human rights advocates to support the social, civic and economic integration of immigrants and refugees.

For more than 100 years, the ACLU has been defending the civil rights of Americans — using the courts to fight for immigrant rights, trans justice, reproductive freedom, and protecting everyone’s rights.

These organizations are doing the work to support communities who may bear the hardest brunt under this administration, while myself and my progressive colleagues do our job in Congress to challenge his hateful policies and mitigate his harm.

So please, donate $25 or anything you can today to counteract the inauguration with love for our communities and support for reproductive rights, civil rights, and economic justice.

Thank you for showing up for your community at this important moment.
