John,
Fifty-two years after
Roe v. Wade, women’s health is still endangered.
A patchwork of varying abortion restrictions isn’t enough to keep women safe, John. In neighboring Idaho, doctors are still in the dark as to what care they can provide pregnant patients in crisis as the state’s abortion ban faces ongoing legal challenges, leaving countless women with no choice but to travel to neighboring states.
Without access to safe reproductive care, patients face risk of serious complications and even death. And when it comes down to it, John, this is a personal decision that should be made between a woman, her doctor, and her family.
Abortion is a matter of healthcare and privacy, and I won’t stop fighting for the freedom to make the best choice for ourselves and our families.
The ultra-conservative super majority on the Supreme Court and anti-choice extremists in Congress are hell-bent on dismantling reproductive freedom. Medication abortion, contraceptives, and more are on the chopping block – but we can still stop them.
If you’re with me, add your name here to tell anti-choice extremists that we aren’t backing down from this fight:
– Marie
