Today, the US Senate will vote on the confirmation of President Trump’s nominee to serve as Defense Secretary – decorated veteran Pete Hegseth. In the name of national security, urge your Senator to vote YES on Pete Hegseth’s critical confirmation.
The quick confirmation of Pete Hegseth to serve as Defense Secretary is a national security imperative. As the world continues to become a more dangerous place, and in light of the tragic terrorist attack that took place in New Orleans, the Senate must promptly confirm President Trump’s incoming Defense Secretary.
As of January 20th, the United States has been left without a Defense Secretary while Senate Democrats continue to obstruct and delay the confirmation process. As a result, the Pentagon has been left leaderless at a time when conflicts rage across the globe and threats to our homeland continue to grow.
