Hey team — are you curious about how California leadership is really doing on climate?

The 2024 California Environmental Scorecard launches next week, and it'll give you the inside scoop on every state legislator, California leadership (Governor, Speaker, and Pro-Tem), and the state of California with detailed grades on all of their environmental and climate actions during 2024.

Friend, you're invited to our virtual Scorecard press conference next week. Will you be able to join us at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 29?

At the event, our CEO Mary Creasman will walk you through the Scorecard, explaining how California fared in 2024, and what our priorities are for 2025. She'll be joined by some of our top climate champions: Congressman Dave Min, Assemblymember Lori Wilson, Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia, Assemblymember Dawn Addis, and Senator Ben Allen.

We've been doing this for over 50 years, and we're so proud of this year's Scorecard. It's a key tool for Californians to evaluate how well our leaders stand on the environment and the climate crisis—and with California's responsibility as a global climate leader right now, it's more important than ever that we hold our representatives accountable.

Last year, California got a B grade — can you guess what grade the state earned this year? Join us at the press conference to see if you're right!

I look forward to seeing you there,
