Tax professionals

Individual taxpayers can now service their own account online! We recently launched a pilot inviting some taxpayers to sign up and access their individual tax account in e-Services.

Taxpayers must first verify their identity, then they can:

  • View account balance, payment history, and letters
  • Make a payment

Future releases will include tools to manage the Advance Child Tax Credit, view returns, manage payment plans, and enable third party access.

We encourage you to open your own individual e-Services account so you are better equipped to help your clients use this new tool.

What if I have my own business and already have access to e-Services?

Sole proprietors do not need to register for a new account, but other business entity types will need to register for a new account.
