** Point-in-Time Count set for late January
------------------------------------------------------------
From January 28-30, our community will conduct the annual Point-in-Time Count to better understand homelessness in Anchorage. This survey asks where our unhoused neighbors spent the night of January 27, capturing data from those staying outdoors, in shelters, and other locations like hospital emergency rooms or warming centers.
The count helps monitor trends and guide solutions, with input from partners like AmeriCorps, Covenant House Alaska and the Anchorage Downtown Partnership. This year, we’re also asking those staying outdoors why they weren’t in a shelter.
