The DC and Maryland labor movement remains in proud solidarity with immigrant workers and families in our region. We will continue to fight to ensure that all workers—regardless of immigration status—are protected at work and at home.

Restaurant workers at Rasika Penn Quarter to picket TODAY, march with fellow workers next week

Workers at Rasika Penn Quarter together with UNITE HERE Local 25 and allies will hold a picket line at the restaurant TODAY starting at 5:30 PM. 633 D St NW, Washington DC.
Then, next week, workers at Rasika, Le Diplomate, Pastis, St. Anselm, and Modena will march for respect, stability, and a seat at the table next Thursday. January 30 at 4:30 PM at 901 K Street.
Before or after you join the workers in person, send Rasika a letter to stop their union-busting.

It was an honor to join DC's 20th Anniversary Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Walk & Parade this past weekend along with many of our local allies in the effort for a better future. Dr. King's legacy is a reminder that the rights of workers are integral to the fight for dignity and justice for all people.
