**What's going on in Boise?**

 

We've been busy clipping videos and posting them to our social media accounts. Hopefully you are following along. Here are some recent highlights:

 

1 - Representative Josh Tanner (R - District 14) introduced RS 32005 before the House State Affairs committee. This RS is regarding the State of Idaho retaining the right to criminally charge Dr. Fauci with crimes here in Idaho despite the blanket and preemptive federal pardon that President Joe Biden extended to Dr. Fauci. The two Democrats on the House State Affairs committee voted no. It did pass and will go to a print hearing.

Representative Heather Scott (R - District 2) introduced HJM 1 which "calls upon the Supreme Court of the United States to reverse the decision in Obergefell v. Hodges and restore the natural definition of marriage, a union of one man and one woman."

Here's one person who debated against HJM 1. This man is a homosexual "pastor" from the Boise First United Church of Christ testified against Heather Scott's HJM 1. He started his testimony by saying, "I grew up knowing three things to be true: I love Jesus, I love being a pastor, and I love men."

Just this morning, Speaker Mike Moyle (R - District 10) presented RS 32013 which is an income tax reduction bill for the State of Idaho. He mentioned during his presentation, that ultimately he wants to get to $350-$400 million in reductions this session which exceeds what the Governor promised. He also mentioned that there would be bills coming forward to deal with sales tax and property tax as well.
