It could push hundreds of thousands of government employees out of a job overnight.
It could substantially raise the prices of mailing and shipping.
It could destroy small businesses who rely on the USPS to survive.
The USPS is sometimes the only option for disconnected or rural areas, and privatizing it would jeopardize that.
