Winning the election on June 23 is so important because — as the title of the video suggests — it's time for a change in New York's 16th District. Because when our campaign asks voters about our current representative, Eliot Engel, one word they continue to use is "absent."

From holding big-dollar fundraisers in luxury resorts as schools in New York began to shut down because of the coronavirus, to misleading constituents about attending two events in the district to hand out PPE — it's clear that Engel is not only absent. He's also completely lost touch.

We know a large number of folks in the Bronx and Westchester agree with Jamaal's progressive values and priorities. But unseating an incumbent, especially one as entrenched as Eliot Engel, is tough work.
