Years ago, when I first ran for Sheriff in King County, I did it because I knew that the residents of King County needed my help. They needed a Sheriff who would put their safety before politics, defend them from dangerous repeat offenders, and put responsible leadership before the fads of radical activists.
Although a lot has changed since then, the Puget Sound region is once again facing challenges similar to those when I first ran for Sheriff. Extreme activists in Seattle seem intent on implementing their agenda of disparaging, disarming, and defunding law enforcement, regardless of how much chaos and harm it causes our communities.
Thankfully for our region, my friend Reagan Dunn is running for reelection to the King County Council. Let me assure you, Reagan is our last line of defense against the radical politics of downtown Seattle.
