John,
Poverty is happening right here at home, in our own backyards.
Hardworking families are being forced to sacrifice the essentials – choosing between groceries, school supplies, rent, transportation and paying the bills.
We can’t solve poverty overnight, but we do know where to start: Strengthening the Child Tax Credit (CTC). In 2021, the expanded CTC singlehandedly cut child poverty in HALF!
But since that relief expired, poverty rates have nearly DOUBLED.
Expanding the CTC again is the first step toward giving every child a chance to thrive. If we speak up together, we can put this policy back on lawmakers’ radar! [[link removed]]

We’ve seen this legislation work before, John. When the CTC was first expanded, more kids woke up in warm, safe beds with access to nutritious meals and life-changing learning opportunities.
The cost of living is rising, and families need relief. Please, speak up for children and support a policy we KNOW makes a real difference. [[link removed]]
Thanks for being a voice for kids,
