Looking ahead to March 2025 in the DC area, we’re thrilled to share a sneak peek at one of our featured plenaries:
Plenary Highlight: Beauty & Justice – Missional Life

Makoto and Haejin Shim Fujimura will explore the profound connection between beauty and justice and their essential roles in the wholeness and restoration of humanity. Beauty, with its capacity to awaken wonder and inspire hope, and justice, with its demand for fairness and flourishing, are not disparate pursuits but intertwined threads in the fabric of a restored world.

The Fujimuras will examine how the pursuit of justice without beauty risks becoming harsh and brittle, while beauty without justice can become hollow and self-serving. Drawing from scripture, theology, and lived experience, the presentation will invite attendees to consider how embracing both beauty and justice can heal divisions, restore dignity, and reflect the fullness of God’s redemptive vision for humanity. Discover how these sacred callings lead us closer to the wholeness for which we were created.
