PublicSource uncovered last summer that the Allegheny County Jail was administering medications for opioid use disorder in the middle of the night. Now, the jail is dosing people at a more reasonable time and is offering more medication options ([link removed]) . The county also has a dashboard that allows for more public oversight of its evolving program.
