Politicians opposed to abortion will do whatever it takes to cut people off from care and control people's health care decisions. They'll go after patients, doctors, providers -- even a patient's friends and family.

That's why they're ramping up their years-long efforts to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers through lawsuits, hostile legislation, and attempts to "defund" Planned Parenthood. These are some of the biggest threats right now:

- Anonymous anti-abortion activist groups, along with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, have launched a baseless $1.8 BILLION dollar lawsuit against Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood affiliates in Texas. Their goal is to shut down health centers and cut patients off from care.

- Vice President Vance has threatened to "defund" Planned Parenthood -- and his allies in Congress are pushing to block patients from accessing essential and affordable health care at Planned Parenthood health centers across the country. Many people who are struggling to make ends meet rely on Planned Parenthood for cancer screenings, STI testing, birth control, and more.

- State lawmakers are trying to block funding for Planned Parenthood health centers, and keep pushing bans on abortion and gender affirming care.

We need to push back against every attempt to cut patients off from care — whether it comes from the Trump administration, Congress, the courts, or anti-abortion groups.
