Meet Kat
Kat Cammack is currently serving her third term representing the FREE state of Florida in the People’s House as FL-03 Congresswoman.
And her road from the small cattle ranch she grew up on to the halls of Congress in our nation’s capital has been far from ordinary.
A third generation commercial sandblaster, Kat originally aspired to take over her family’s business and continue the rural, rodeo lifestyle she had grown so accustomed to.
That was until a failed Obama-era housing policy caused Kat’s family to lose their ranch, leaving her and her mother homeless. They lived in their car and bounced from cheap motel to cheap motel just to keep a roof over their heads.
But overcoming these hardships moulded Kat into the gritty and unapologetic leader she is today. After her family’s livelihood was destroyed by big government, she made it her life mission to deliver federal reform in the DC Swamp for the American people.
So she packed her belongings and moved to Florida’s 3rd Congressional District – where she would serve as a Deputy Chief of Staff for nearly a decade before running for Congress herself.
After emerging victorious in a brutal, 10-way GOP primary contest, the people of FL-03 elected Kat to serve them in the People’s House in November of 2020.
Throughout her journey from homelessness to the House of Representatives, Kat Cammack has shown unwavering and unapologetic grit in her fight for the American people.
And she has no plans of backing down until we truly have a government for the people, by the people once again here in the United States.
When she’s not going toe-to-toe with the Washington Swamp, Kat enjoys spending time with her loving husband Matt – who serves as a firefighter and SWAT Medic with the Gainesville Fire Rescue. In the little spare time that they have, you can find Kat and Matt fishing, skeet shooting, or watching Gators football.
They are incredibly proud to call north central Florida’s “Gator Nation” home. Go Gators, and let’s keep Florida the most FREE state in the union!
