John,
52 years ago, the Supreme Court affirmed the legal right to an abortion in the landmark Roe v. Wade decision. It was a monumental step forward for reproductive rights nationwide.
However, three years ago, the Supreme Court, dominated by Trump appointees, overturned this historic decision. They ignored decades of precedent to advance a political agenda rooted in extremism.
This week, within hours of being inaugurated, Trump began his assault on reproductive health yet again. He signed an order to officially recognize only two sexes (male and female), which would be defined based on the reproduction cells at conception and took down the federal reproductive rights website.
This was made all the more devastating in the wake of the death of reproductive care activist and former President of Planned Parenthood Cecile Richards. Cecile dedicated her life to service and helped millions get the care they need and, in Cecile’s memory, we must recommit ourselves to fighting for bodily autonomy and reproductive rights.
In honor of the 52nd Anniversary of Roe v Wade, add your name to recommit to the fight for reproductive freedom for all.
