Today, we should be celebrating the 52nd anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that codified a woman’s constitutional right to choose. Instead, we’re marking the 3rd year since President Trump’s conservative Supreme Court overturned half a century of legal precedent.

Extreme MAGA Republicans have been unapologetic in their relentless campaign to criminalize abortion at the local, state, and federal levels. And now, with President Trump back at the helm, they’re emboldened to pursue even more extreme measures to ban abortion nationwide.

I am not bowing down to President Trump and MAGA Republican allies as they deny millions of Americans a constitutional right. Despite last year’s deeply disappointing election results, a vast majority of Americans support reproductive freedom. Republicans may have a trifecta and a band of billionaires calling the shots, but I believe deep in my bones that nothing and no one is more powerful than our strength in numbers.

We’re looking at a tough year ahead of us, but I know that together, we can take on whatever comes our way.
