Team, my message for you today, on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, is simple.
As a doctor, I believe women must be able to make their own health care decisions. It is a moral failure and a clear danger to public health — especially to the health of Black women — to let politicians decide for them.
That’s why I will fight tooth and nail any attempt by Donald Trump and the GOP to ban abortion nationwide. Will you chip in $10 to fuel my fight to defend abortion rights?
When I worked as a physician, I saw countless women come in with complicated pregnancies. I witnessed the anguish of those moments when women are faced with impossible decisions.
Those experiences formed a fundamental stance for me – the choices made in the doctor's office should never be influenced by far-away legislators.
Will you chip in today to help me defend reproductive rights with everything I’ve got?
Thank you,
Herb Conaway
