52 years ago today, the Supreme Court handed down the landmark decision Roe v. Wade. And for nearly 50 years, women had the right to choose. They could make personal medical decisions for themselves without interference from out-of-touch politicians.

But Donald Trump's extremists on the Supreme Court put the decision in the hands of the states and many jumped at the chance to ban abortion. And with Donald Trump back in office, we cannot trust that reproductive rights are safe.

For me, this reproductive freedom is a personal fight. My beautiful granddaughter was born because of IVF. Without Roe to protect women's rights and fertility treatments, families like ours could be left out in the cold.

Delaware sent me to the Senate on the promise that I would protect abortion rights at every turn. That's why today, on the anniversary of Roe, I am humbly asking you to rush $5 to my team.
