2024 was a year of challenge and transformation — a year that tested us, pushed us, and ultimately strengthened us. Through hard work and the unwavering support of our community, we recommitted to our mission and positioned ourselves for the critical fights ahead.

Not today, Georgia State Election Board

In a big win for Georgia voters and our democracy, a judge found seven of the election rules passed by Trump-endorsed members on Georgia’s State Election Board “illegal, unconstitutional, and void,” striking them down a couple weeks before Election Day.

The rules included changes that could have empowered local election officials — some who still believe Donald Trump’s 2020 election lies — to delay the certification of election results, delay election results being tabulated, and undermine confidence in the 2024 election.




Democracy Champions won big in Georgia

During the November election, Fair Fight endorsed and supported 61 local Georgia candidates — and saw 50 win their elections outright. In the House of Representatives, Floyd Gridding (District 149), Tangie Herring (District 145), and Bryce Berry (District 56), flipped Republican-held seats and defeated extreme anti-democratic Republicans.

We know these Democracy Champions will work to ensure Georgians can freely cast their ballots and fight for working people, so that our future elections reflect the will of the people.




Voter Outreach Milestones

In the months and weeks leading up to the November election, our volunteers showed up in full force to help voters stay informed and cast their ballots.

We sent over 2 million texts, knocked on over 45,000 doors in competitive districts, and provided information or assistance to 20,000+ voters, which helped us win races in Georgia’s House of Representatives. We couldn’t have done this work without you, and we’re incredibly grateful for this team!




The Fair Fight team is shifting into resistance preparation mode as we look ahead to another four years of Trump and an administration that is bent on rolling back freedoms and attacking our democracy.
