Lobby to defend democracy on Feb 12.

John,
On day one of his administration, Trump signed a series of executive orders drastically rolling back environmental and social progress. These include, but are not limited to: withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement, reversing protections for Alaskan coastline, revoking electric vehicle goals, revoking birthright citizenship, rescinding diversity, equity and inclusion policies and programs. Combined with Trump’s goal to make permanent tax breaks for the ultra-rich, the president is turning away from campaign promises to his voters.
And ultimately, we all pay the cost. We must double down on defending our democracy. We must organize against Trump's extremist agenda in Washington state. We must act.
We urge you to join us on February 12 for the 2025 Democracy Lobby Day, [[link removed]] at the Washington State Capitol in Olympia. Advocate for bills essential to expanding access, equity, and fairness in our voting systems. Engage directly with elected officials to encourage them to act to protect democracy.
