Last week, Pam Bondi underwent questioning from the Senate Judiciary
Committee about her record and unchecked loyalty to Trump and his
unconstitutional agenda. And next week she’s expected to get a vote on her
nomination from the committee.

We cannot allow Pam Bondi – a Trump loyalist and right-wing extremist – to
become our next Attorney General!

Her performance during her hearing showcased her deeply troubling views
and the bias she would bring to this position. Among other red flags,
Bondi refused to concede that Trump lost the 2020 election and insisted
that there was a peaceful transfer of power in 2021. She also failed to
say that she would defend birthright citizenship as protected under the
14th Amendment, instead saying she’d “have to study it.”

Pam Bondi is flat out wrong for the Department of Justice. Thank you for
your advocacy and for joining us in demanding the Senate reject her
nomination!

Meet Pam Bondi: Trump loyalist, election denier, and his nominee for
Attorney General. She’s a former Trump lawyer and she’s been hand-picked
to help Trump weaponize the Department of Justice against the American
people. She is a dangerous choice for Attorney General and we need to do
everything we can to stop her.

Bondi’s committee hearing is expected next week, so we must make our
voices heard now!

We know Bondi will represent Trump first and America second because she
already has! Her corruption is on record: As attorney general for Florida,
Bondi decided not to join a lawsuit against Trump University after one of
her allied political organizations got an illegal contribution from the
Trump Foundation.

In 2020, she backed Trump’s false claims of election fraud as he was
trying to undo the results of the presidential election. Bondi also served
as Trump’s lawyer during his first impeachment trial. After that, she went
on to lead the legal arm of America First Policy Institute—a far-right
think tank set up by former Trump staffers to prepare a “revolutionary”
agenda for his return to power.

All of Trump’s nominees have been selected because of their commitment to
Trump above all else. Bondi’s just the latest to demonstrate a willingness
to put Trump above the American people. The Department of Justice must not
fall victim to Trump’s dangerous agenda.

We cannot stand by and allow such an extreme loyalist to weaponize the
Department of Justice against our democracy and our communities. The
Attorney General must be the lawyer for the American people – not Donald
