If you’ve kept up with the news lately, you’ve seen President-elect Donald Trump float the idea of making Canada the 51st state. What!?

While Trump is talking about statehood for Canada, there’s a clear need for better representation for a “state” here at home – namely Washington, D.C.

Our nation’s capital is home to over 700,000 Americans who don’t enjoy the same representation we do in the 50 states. They have ZERO Senate representation, and we think it’s past due their voice were strengthened via statehood.

That’s why we’re polling our top supporters today: Should Washington, D.C. become our 51st state?
